Pladis is one of the world’s leading snack companies, known for its iconic biscuit brands, including McVitie’s. With a commitment to transparency, they wanted to highlight the unsung heroes in their factories - the dedicated teams who make their products come to life.
The Brief - PHOTOGRAPHY
Pladis wanted to shift the focus from the glossy, idealised portrayal of biscuit-making to the real, behind-the-scenes action in their factories. They needed to showcase the everyday process, the people involved, and the craftsmanship behind each biscuit, all while reinforcing their brand's commitment to quality and integrity.
What We Delivered
We toured eight Pladis factories across the UK, spending an entire day at each location, immersing ourselves in the factory floor and capturing the real heart of the operation. From process flow imagery to candid shots of the team at work and product line photography, we created a gallery of over 100 images per factory. These images now serve as a powerful tool for internal communications, helping to promote Pladis’ work culture, as well as being used in recruitment campaigns to attract new talent to the company. The images beautifully communicate the dedication and precision behind their beloved products.

TrueStart is a forward-thinking coffee brand that is revolutionising how people experience coffee, focusing on clean, high-quality products that energise without the crash.
The Brief - CAMPAIGN VIDEO
To celebrate TrueStart’s launch into Morrisons, they wanted to create a campaign that would generate excitement and showcase their innovative, fun approach to coffee. The brief: document them whizzing around Bristol in a branded 1980s milkfloat handing out free coffee to the masses. The video needed to capture the buzz of the campaign, highlight the retro vibe of the float, and tie in TrueStart's modern twist.
What We Delivered
We embraced the retro vibe from the outset with an old-school intro, playing on nostalgia, then transitioning to the energetic, modern feel of TrueStart’s coffee and their youthful audience. We delivered a 1-minute, high-energy reel that captured the fun, dynamic essence of the campaign, as well as several bite-sized reel clips and a landscape version tailored for LinkedIn. The content was perfect for social media, and it helped generate significant buzz and attention as the float made its way through the city. The campaign not only amplified TrueStart’s presence in Morrisons but also reinforced their brand as fresh, vibrant, and full of personality.
